Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Digital Graphic Design Assistant to join our Marketing Team!


The Digital Graphic Design Assistant helps visually convey the stories that make the world more beautiful, encourage us to appreciate the world of interior design, and celebrate artisans and their crafts. He/she assists in the creation of compelling content that inspires and delights our clients in the interior design community and our colleagues on the PJ team. Their fluency in digital, video, and social media plays a pivotal role in establishing Phillip Jeffries as the undeniable digital leader in the Interior Design industry. Learning about our customers and their journeys will enable them to develop break-through content that enhances all interactions with the brand. This role will report to the Creative Manager.


What you will be doing:


PREPARE DIGITAL ASSETS FOR ALL USES

  • Retouch and crop web sku images
  • Prepare assets for digital renderings

 

DEVELOP SOCIAL MEDIA ASSETS

  • Collaborate with the Social Media Storyteller, Graphic Designer, and Copywriter to develop all assets
  • Ensure final deliverables meet expectations
  • Make recommendations on how to continually optimize our content

 

DESIGN WEB PAGES AND APP SCREENS

  • Deploy and test all web pages
    • Ensure live pages match templates and links work as intended
    • Add necessary metadata, tags, and keywords
    • Make recommendations on how to optimize pages
  • Maintain the blog
    • Coordinate with the Social Media Storyteller to create and manage the posting calendar
    • Coordinate with the Graphic Designer and Copywriter to secure imagery and copy
    • Deploy blog entries and curate the overall user experience
  • Design app screens as specified by the Digital Marketing Manager
    • Secure necessary approvals
    • Deliver screens to IT for development
  • Understand and appreciate our customers and their journeys
  • Drive innovation by continually seeking out inspiration from within and beyond the Interior Design category


Must have:


  • 1-3 years of graphic design experience
  • Fluency in digital, video, and social
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong portfolio of relevant work
  • Passion for storytelling and bringing ideas to life
  • Experience in web design projects
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Positive energy and a desire to contribute

  • Strong point of view and passion for collaboration
  • Openness to feedback, redirection, and reprioritization
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Mastery of all required software (Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Premiere Elements, Dimension, Lightroom, XD) and web platforms
  • Experience with digital asset management tools such as webDAM preferred
