Phillip Jeffries is expanding our Marketing team and we are looking for a Marketing Activation Assistant to join us!

We are currently hiring for the newly created role of Marketing Activation Assistant to be based in our Fairfield, NJ office.  In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Marketing Activation team in bringing targeted and newsworthy content to market across all activation channels.

This position will foster relationships with designers, influencers, partners, and the media – ensuring a rock star experience in all interactions. You will help craft and maintain activation calendars, deploy emails, assist in event planning and execution, and support all paid and earned media activity. 

    What you will be doing:


    • Assist in press outreach, requests, pitches, lists, tracking, and reporting 
    • Schedule press appointments and presentations 
    • Maintain press and media calendars 
    • Develop weekly and monthly media recaps 
    • Track and archive press coverage 
    • Update the Editorials and Showroom sections of the website 
    • Research new and noteworthy media and influencers 
    • Coordinate with the Social Media Assistant to update the influencer list 


      • Maintain the email calendar 
      • Ensure all email components are provided on a timely basis 
      • Deploy emails to the specified lists, ensuring accuracy of all elements 
      • Conduct A/B testing 
      • Ensure all contacts are added to Constant Contact from CRM and the web 


      • Assist in the planning and execution of all events (showroom events, showhouses, tradeshows, market weeks, launch trainings, and global launch presentations) 
      • Identify branded item needs and coordinate with the Marketing Strategy team to ensure their on-time delivery 
      • Research new branded item options 
      • Assist in managing the budget, tracking invoices, and resolving discrepancies 


      • Coordinate with print and digital publishers to plan, execute, and track programs 
      • Develop traffic sheets for all activity and ensure assets are delivered properly 
      • Manage closing dates and deadlines 
      • Monitor added value programs to ensure they are delivered 
      • Track and archive advertising 
      • Update Advertising section of the website with any new ads 
      • Assist in managing the budget, tracking invoices, and resolving discrepancies 

      Must Have:

      • Interest in marketing (specifically public relations, communications, and advertising) and interior design 
      • Proactive and innovative 
      • Excellent time/project/process management skills 
      • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously 
      • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills 
      • Exceptional attention to detail 
      • Positive energy and a desire to learn and contribute 
      • Ability to direct and manage vendors 
      • Client service heart 
      • Openness to feedback, redirection, and reprioritization 
      • Willingness to work overtime as needed 
      • Experience in email deployment tools such as Constant Contact 
      • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) 
      • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and digital asset management tools such as webDAM preferred
