Phillip Jeffries is expanding our Marketing team and we are looking for a Marketing CRM Specialist to join us!


We are currently hiring for the newly created role of Marketing CRM Specialist to be based in our Fairfield, NJ office.  In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of CRM strategies that increase customer insights, engagement, retention, loyalty, and growth. This person is the internal expert and ultimate owner of all client data – with the goal of ensuring accuracy, surfacing actionable insights, and enhancing activation plans. An analyst at heart, this person is responsible for optimizing all outbound marketing programs, fine-tuning messaging, and sharing insights throughout the organization. Continuous improvement is required to monitor and audit our practices, policies, and processes related to the collection, segmentation, and storage of customer data. Their efforts will help make Phillip Jeffries the undeniable marketing leader in the Interior Design industry.


    What you will be doing:


    OWN CLIENT DATA AND INSIGHTS

    • Deep dive into client data to gain actionable insights
      • Acquisition sources
      • High-performing segments
      • Purchasing behavior by segment
      • Cross-sell, upsell, and re-engagement opportunities
      • Segments of greatest opportunity
      • Next best product by segment
    • Own all aspects of the CRM, within Marketing, and ensure we have the means to capture, track, and report the most relevant data
    • Define, document, and manage CRM training materials related to Marketing
    •  Share insights with colleagues to inform programs and campaigns
    • Establish a center of excellence to ensure optimized messaging across channels and categories
    • Collaborate with Sales and CHA to identify opportunities for greater message synergy
    • Identify opportunities to improve data collection and integrity
    • Ensure data collection methods optimize the client journey and comply with privacy regulations

     

    MANAGE MARKETING AUTOMATION SOFTWARE

    • Design and implement marketing automation flows (including process maps, triggers, and drip campaigns, etc.)
    • Spot weak points in the automation workflow and propose refinements
    • Implement test and learn methodologies such as A/B and usability testing
    • Create, optimize, and manage sustainable and scalable marketing automation practices
    • Contribute to the email process, providing direction on lists, testing, tracking, and reporting number of contacts
    • Ensure templates meet the needs of the brand and business
    • Ensure we have the appropriate training and resources within the organization to maximize HubSpot
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Hubspot, internally and externally
    • Ensure all contract terms are honored
    • Track all related expenses – processing invoices and resolving discrepancies

     

    CREATE CUSTOMER JOURNEYS

    • Utilize client data to identify customer segments and website user groups
    • Develop client personas that articulate demographics, psychographics, life/career stage, purchase behavior, and current needs
    • Identify touchpoints and roadblocks to map the client journey
    • Continually monitor data and update personas and journeys are necessary

     

    CREATE A CULTURE OF INNOVATION, EFFICIENCY, AND LEARNING

    • Drive operational efficiency through continuous process improvement
    • Foster innovation and expand our capabilities

    • Lead, mentor, and guide the work of junior team members



    Must Have:


    • 3-5 years of experience in CRM and marketing automation systems
    • Experience developing customer journeys
    • Customer-first mindset and passion for delivering the best end-to-end client experience
    • Understanding of targeting, segmentation, A/B testing, and optimization
    • Proven analytical and quantitative skills that lead to actionable insights
    • Exemplary project and process management skills
    • Expertise in developing system and process solutions
    • Ability to manage long- and short-term projects simultaneously
    • Passion for sharing insights and learnings
    • Strong point of view and ability to challenge then align
    • Intellectual curiosity
    • Client service heart
    • Positive energy and desire to contribute and collaborate
    • Adept at working cross-functionally to gain alignment
    • Strong attention to detail

    • Interior design experience preferred but not required
    • Mastery of all required systems (e.g. HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Constant Contact, Wrike, Google Analytics)
