Phillip Jeffries is looking for a Merchandising & Sampling Lead in New York!


Our Showroom Sales team is searching for a highly motivated Merchandising & Sampling Lead with a desire to learn about the various functions involved in running a luxury wallcovering showroom. This position will be in our brand-new Flagship location in New York City within the D&D Building. This position will report directly to the New York Showroom Manager.


What you will be doing:


  • Practice leadership abilities by offering support, guidance, and training to the librarian as a team player
  • Filling sample requests for clients and outside sales team
  • Support Inside/Outside Sales team by introducing him/herself to clients as an added resource for sample process and delivery
  • Own sample replenishment process through our CRM software
  • Maintain organization of memo inventory
  • Organize existing sample catalogues and memos throughout the showroom
  • Shipping memo’s and sales materials from the showroom to clients
  • Secure and schedule messenger service from showroom to clients when needed for sales team
  • Organize vignette installs and wing updates with Installers. Work with Showroom manager to build network of installers and vet installers for Showroom installs rotate walls three collections per year.
  • Assist with seasonal roll-out of new collections for visuals in the showroom by exchanging out seasonally
  • Participate with special projects and showroom events as needed
  • Acting as the lead for the library sample room and owning the task of inventory control and replenishment
  • Remaining in close contact with our sample replenishment department in NJ at our headquarters through Microsoft Team Channel Chats.
  • Responsible for supporting the cleanliness and organizational appearance of the showroom and maintaining adequate supplies
  • Maintains adequate levels of office supplies/order new supplies as needed for the entire NY team
  • Additional duties as needed by management
